I grew up in the city of Kokomo, Indiana. A couple of years ago, I was able to make a dream come true in that I was able to move over 600 miles away to Rockingham County, North Carolina. Once here, we got a rental house, bought 52 1/2 acres of land, bought 4 Nubian doelings, built a barn, and then built our home.
Now, I have 24 goats (Nubians, Nigerian Dwarfs, and Myotonics (fainters). Our two granddaughters also live with us for the time being. I am so thrilled that they have the opportunity to live on a farm. They have so much to experience!
I am so proud of Paige! She is going to grow up to be a great goat farmer and have the opportunities I always dreamed of having.
