SPINACH DIP

Preparation:
  1. Thaw the frozen spinach and drain excess water.  Place in a mixing bowl.

  2. Chop onions, celery  and water chestnuts.  Add to spinach.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. Chill for 2 hours before serving.

NOTE:  This spinach dip is great with either Hawaiian bread or tortilla chips.

Ingredients:
  • 1 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinach

  • 1 or 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1 stalk chopped celery

  • 1 can thinly sliced water chestnuts, chopped

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 package dry vegetable soup mix

  • 1 dash garlic

  • 1 dash lemon pepper
